Principal / Founder - Nicholas C. Kalavity
Mr. Kalavity provides over three decades of expertise within the telecommunications industry with an emphasis in sales, business development and marketing to the global wholesale segment.
Prior to founding BFP in 2005, Mr. Kalavity had provided key business development, corporate development and general advisory support to several industry start-ups. Through 2001, Mr. Kalavity served in a variety of executive level business development and sales capacities with notable wholesale carriers. From 1999-2000 Mr. Kalavity was V.P. North American Sales for Extant, Inc. and also served on its executive management team. From 1998-1999 Mr. Kalavity was V.P. Sales for Pathnet Communications. Beginning 1992-1998 Mr. Kalavity was integral in establishing Teleport Communications Group's (now part of AT&T) emerging market carrier channel within its National Markets Group, providing a focus to this service provider/carrier market segment. Also, Mr. Kalavity was the first national wholesale sales executive for TecNet, Inc.
